I had my first banana split last summer in over 20 years. It was so good and has induced many cravings ever since. I just found a recipe for a healthier version and was super excited to try it. It didn't disappoint and really hit the spot with the sweet and tart fruit, creamy cool whip, and rich chocolate sauce.

Healthier Banana Split
Ingredients
Banana
Strawberries
Pineapple
Fat-free cool whip
Chocolate sauce
Nuts (optional)
1. Chop up fruit into bite size pieces.
2. Layer in a parfait glass. I did strawberries, cool whip, chocolate sauce, and repeat with other fruits. Top with nuts of choice.
3. I made my own chocolate sauce with 1/2 cup milk, 2 tsp cocoa powder, 2 tsp icing sugar, and 1 tbsp chocolate chips. Microwave for 1 min and stir until thickened.
