I am a smoothie person. I love having a smoothie after my morning workout as my lunch. I find smoothies go down a lot easier for me than a big ol' salad.
Making a smoothie every day seemed like a lot of effort. I have seen ideas to freeze smoothie ingredients in individual bags, which is a good idea, but then there's still the blending and dishes to clean.
I went one step further what I do is make a big batch once a week. It works like a charm. I use my 12 cup Ninja blender and I make 2 full batches and it is a weeks worth of smoothies for me.
Freezer Smoothie
Directions:
Divide into 3 or 4 freezer baggies.
Freeze
When you want a smoothie simply remove from freezer and microwave for about 2 minutes. Take it out and pound out the lumps and microwave for 30 seconds more.
Pour into your glass and enjoy a nice smoothie still cold and slushy!!
I will give you my smoothie recipe, however I must warn you this is a practical, healthy smoothie. It is not a delicious, fruity, sweet smoothie. If you like it sweeter you can add some sweetner or honey.

2 Bananas
2 c. Frozen mixed berries
12 Baby carrots
1 c. Frozen chopped spinach
2 c. Milk (almond, soy, or dairy)
1 c Fat free plain Greek yogurt
Water - enough to get it to the texture you want
Blend all ingredients together. Makes 3 large smoothies.
